Lydia & Nicolas — Beach Wedding at Kalyva, Andros, Greece
G R E E C E / Andros
A Romantic Beach Wedding at Agios Kyprianos and Kalyva Beach Bar
Lydia and Nicolas chose the Cycladic island of Andros for their destination wedding in Greece, creating a celebration surrounded by the Aegean Sea, beautiful natural landscapes and the people closest to them.
Their ceremony took place at Agios Kyprianos, a small seaside chapel set right above its own beach on the island's west coast, before the celebration continued nearby at Kalyva Beach Bar in Agios Petros — with photography by Yuliya Skya.
Their wedding film captures the relaxed and intimate atmosphere of their day, from the anticipation before the ceremony to the celebration that followed.
Set against the natural beauty of Andros, their wedding was a beautiful example of how a Greek island destination wedding can feel both effortless and deeply personal.
As destination wedding videographers in Greece, our aim was to preserve the atmosphere of the day as naturally as possible — the emotions, the movement, the landscape and all the spontaneous moments that made Lydia and Nicolas' celebration unique.
Lydia & Nicolas' Wedding in Andros
Lydia and Nicolas' celebration was all about the experience of being together.
Their wedding film focuses on the atmosphere surrounding the day as much as the formal moments themselves. From the anticipation and excitement before the ceremony to the emotions shared with family and friends, every part of the celebration contributes to their story.
The beach and the surrounding landscape provide a natural visual language for the film, while the genuine interactions between Lydia, Nicolas and their guests keep the story personal.
Two places that capture this particularly well are Agios Kyprianos, a small chapel beside its own quiet beach on the island's west coast, and Kalyva Beach Bar nearby in Agios Petros — both featured in Lydia and Nicolas' wedding above.
We believe that the strongest wedding films are not created by constantly directing a couple. They come from giving people the freedom to experience their wedding day while quietly observing and preserving the moments that happen naturally.
A Cinematic Wedding Film in Andros
Our approach to wedding videography is documentary, emotional and cinematic.
We look for the moments that cannot be recreated — a glance between two people, the reaction of a parent, friends laughing together, the atmosphere immediately before the ceremony or the energy of the celebration once everyone has relaxed.
At the same time, we want the destination itself to be part of the film.
For a beach wedding in Andros, that means incorporating the Aegean landscape, the sea, the natural light and the distinctive character of the Cyclades into the visual story.
The result is not simply a recording of the wedding.
It is a cinematic memory of the place, the people and the feeling of being there.
